Created prototype queries as stored procedures executed from a Java front end using JDBC to improve marketing list generation turnaround from a day to less than an hour. Implemented Tableau as an additional interface to the database.Planned and implemented migration of file and domain functions from a local Samba 3 server to Samba 4 and OpenAFS on Amazon EC2 running Ubuntu Linux. This allowed employees to seamlessly work at client sites or at home, in addition to the office.
