I supported the Raytheon DOMino contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The DOMino contract is focused on enhancing the National Cyberscecurity Protection System (NCPS) used to protect networks in the Executive Branch of the federal government. I was a member of the sensor network characterization team charged with developing a Functional System Description and DoDAF artifacts capturing the as-is system. I served as both a systems engineer and scrum master.

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Afghanistan-Pakistan Task Force (APTF) provides the Joint Staff Director for Intelligence (J2) with "ground truth" regarding events in theater. The Knowledge Management Organization (KMO) provides the Task Force with automated solutions support. As deputy chief, I supervised the daily activities of civilian support staff, acted as the interface to the Pentagon Intelligence Fusion Cell, and represented KM equities to other organizations.

I served more than 30 years both on active duty and in reserve status. After serving an enlistment in Germany (Pershing missiles) and Texas (2AD), I was commissioned in 1984. During my service in the Army Reserve I was mobilized several times: Panama, Qatar, Iraq, J2 (Pentagon), J8 (Pentagon), Afghanistan-Pakistan Task Force (Pentagon).

I leveraged my knowledge of the DoD Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) to investigate and brief government supervisor regarding the JIEDDO Joint IED Defeat Capability Approval and Acquisition Management Process (JCAAMP), DOD JIEDDO Instruction 5000.01. This process is used to identify C-IED requirements and acquire both materiel and non-materiel solutions rapidly.

I was the Intelligence Team Leader on the U.S. Coast Guard Deepwater program. The Deepwater program is a major recapitalization of the U.S. Coast Guard, including air, afloat, and shore assets. The Intelligence component of the program included a Systematic Screening of Vessels (SSV) capability, a Specific Emitter Identification (SEI) ELINT capability, and an Intelligence Knowledge Center (IKC). The SEI and SSV capabilities support threat identification and threat analysis. The IKC is a collaborative analytical support tool.

I was the lead systems engineer for the Refugee Management and Tracking System (RMATS) and the Soft Order of Battle Analysis (SOBA) effort. I served as the Intelligence SME for the Army Intelligence Master Plan support to Exercise ULCHI FOCUS LENS.
