As the Chief Administrative Officer, I function as the top-level executive in charge of most, if not all, of a Town's daily activities. My duties include managing multiple offices and departments, including finance, police, recreation, public works, utilities, planning, and human resources.

My responsibilities included planning, directing, managing and overseeing the activities, projects and operations of the Public Works Department including street maintenance and construction, central maintenance, levee maintenance, engineering, traffic engineering, building maintenance, and solid waste services to coordinate assigned activities with other Town departments and outside agencies; while providing highly responsible and complex administrative support to the CAO and the Mayor’s office.

While under administrative direction, I planned, directed and coordinated a variety of highly responsible and complex programs and projects within the City including citywide financial oversight, organizational audits, reviews and inquiries, and redevelopment. I addition, I coordinated City programs and activities with outside agencies and organizations; and provides responsible administrative support to the City Manager and City Commission.

While under the direction of the Chief of Police's Liaison, I coordinated and performed a variety of confidential and complex administrative functions; provided executive-level administrative support to the Chief of Police, Deputy Chiefs, the Mayor's office; and the City Manager's office. I scheduled and coordinated meetings; prepared correspondence, reports, and other documentation; assisted in administering assigned grants; served as a representative of the Department and liaises with outside agencies; coordinated special projects; and performed other related duties as assigned.
