It also included responsibility for delivery of the technology elements of some very significant Estates Projects including the MPS move into Empress State Building (30 floors) and also the a major high security building. Other achievements included the creation of the Data Centre Capacity Board DCCB to establish control over long standing capacity challenges in the Data Centres and the creation of Technology Templates to facilitate standardised service provision into common building types e.g. Patrol Bases, Custody Centres.As part of the role it became necessary to incorporation MPS Data Centre requirements into the MPS 2nd Generation Outsourcing exercise.
