Assistant Commercial manager in charge of finance matters, chartering, contract management, business development and general ship management operations as well as overseeing accounting matters, reporting to the commercial manager.I assisted the commercial manager with:- Chartering out support boats to the Oil & Gas companies in UAE and Qatar, namely Adma-Opco, Gasco and Maersk. - Sales of company services and procuring new clients.- Initial client contact and follow up/liaison- Preparing tender bids and contracts for oil field work- Sourcing and acquiring new vessels for chartering/purchase- Charterparty drafting, review and negotiations along with fixing and post fixing matters- Operation of several offshore vessels that concluded their contracts satisfactorily and lucratively. The vessels included supply boats, safety standby vessels, diving support, tugboats and anchor handling boats- Participated in drafting and maintaining the company’s ISM and HSE manuals.
