About Roger Schultz

I have worked as a general urologist and educator of residents in training, earning Residents Award at Riverside for Best Clinical Instructor, also "Top Doc" award in the Tidewater area.I have been very involved in administrative support for my colleagues, serving as President of local and regional urological societies, later on the Board of Directors of the American Urological Association.I received the Distinguished Service Award from the AUA in 2021. I am humbled and honored to have received the Best Reviewer Award in 2022 for my work with the Editorial Staff of Urology Practice.I think philanthropy and public service is important, so I have served on the Boards of Williamsburg Hospice House and Williamsburg Community Foundation. My wife and I support the Virginia Arts Festival.The US Navy taught me to stay fit - I love to bike, hike, kayak, play tennis/pickle ball.I speak Spanish and French, some Italian, and some Hebrew.I play piano, clarinet, and saxophone. I am a member of the Bagels and Fraylox Klezmer band that has toured regionally and produced 2 CD's.
