About Roger Schultz

Since 1989 I've been working in the aviation industry. My goal is to continue working in the advanced electronics environment to develop and field robust solutions, products and systems. I would like to continue to develop high performing engineering teams and tutor the development of engineers.Specialties: Development and integration of avionics. I have experience integrating real time software (DO-178 B/C) with real time operating system (ARINC 653) and associated partition and input/output scheduling. I have experience with simple and complex (DO-254) hardware development and fail safe hardware design in both federated and IMA (Integrated Modular Architecture) typologies.     I helped facilitate VIA and SafeBus® technical transfer from Phoenix to Albuquerque. In addition I have been supporting the C-5 project with their systems definition, development and integration of the following interfaces: 1553, SafeBus® link between separate chassis, Analog CCA, Discrete CCA, 758 CCA and motherboard layout. I supported the CMF and FMS IPT’s with their integration efforts. Provide laboratory support, production transition, and RERP systems definition.I worked with the following additional technologies while at Honeywell; B-2 and F-18 optical drives, Air Data computers, Displays, Display processors and Flight Controls.
