Initially employed in the role of Manager Professional Indemnity NSW I also took the leading role in relation to the cyber launch by AGCS upon my arrival, holding the only underwriting authority in Australia for the first two years.Responsible for the underwriting of corporate and global professional indemnity risks including large scale engineering, construction, major projects and financial planners.In 2106 I opened the AGCS Brisbane office in the role of Manager of the Financial Lines division for QLD. I also had the role of being the representative of AGCS in the Queensland insurance market.

I managed the Financial and Executive risk division in Queensland with full profit and loss responsibility.I built a very strong team of high quality individuals which was successful in growing a very profitable business. In this role I provided board-level advice to Queensland Rail on the executive risks arising from the IPO of what subsequently became Aurizon. I also worked very closely with the board of MacArthur Coal Limited over a particularly intense period during which the company was subject to three, ultimately successful, hostile takeover bids from Peabody Energy.In 2016 I was persuaded to return to Sydney to take a senior position within the NSW FINEX team. In this role I acted on behalf of major corporations, professional firms and the university sector in an advisory and placement capacity in relation to financial and executive risk.

Initially employed in a claims management capacity I was responsible for the notification and settlement of claims under Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Crime and EPL policies. Managing negotiations an the conduct of litigation on a day to day basis. I was seconded to the NSW State Transit Authority for a period of six months in 2002. In this role I was responsible to the STA Risk Manager in the management of all insurance policies and claims arising from the operation of buses and ferries in NSW.

I was responsible for the management of all aspects of Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers claims from notification to settlement. I held a very significant settlement authority and was a very active participant in litigation and other forms of dispute resolution.I built a small but very capable team significantly growing AIG's FL claims presence in the City.
