As a Staff Software Engineer, I increased my contributions to the backend by taking on medium-sized features. With this experience, I became a full-stack developer capable of contributing to any area of particular interest, with no limitations on the tech stack. During this time, I enabled the SaaS product to reach regions outside the US by updating the UI architecture to support personalized tenant URLs. In addition to leading general UI features on the platform team, I also initiated groundbreaking work for adding GraphQL support in both Java and Go services, as well as on the UI side. I also ensured the adoption of the MUI framework in platform-owned UI pages. As part of my UI contributions, I led the implementation of a new navigation UI for the MFE-based SaaS product, modifying the existing architecture to support modern UX requirements.

As a Senior Software Engineer at Venafi, I had the opportunity to contribute to the Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture by creating a script that enabled routing between a single-spa MFE architecture and a regular Angular application. I also created the CI/CD pipelines that tested, built, and delivered MFEs to production. During this time, I honed my UI development skills by leading the development of new features on the UI and delivering several pages in React using our reusable components. Additionally, I started contributing to the backend by implementing small features in both Java and Go-based microservices.

During my role as a software engineer, I primarily worked as a front-end developer, building reusable UI components in React. I created the CI/CD Jenkins pipelines responsible for building, testing, and deploying these components to our internal NPM Artifactory. During this time, I was also responsible for integrating these components into our legacy product by building Python scripts that allowed the legacy build process to include and render a React-based application. This created an opportunity for the modernization of the product, better positioning Venafi's user experience.

Grader of CSCE313 Introduction to Computer Systems where my main functions were to, grade programming assignments, quizzes and midterms of a class of 60 students

While working at Kwan Tecnologia, I also worked half time with this partner company to fill for their DevOps position on which I:- Fixed and restored the automatic deployment process of new AWS instances after being broken for 4 months, saving developers’ time.- Maintained the existing instances in AWS as well as the automation scripts, and created new instances for specific team needs.- Worked mainly with bash/python/ruby scripts, Git, Jenkins, and Docker containers.

While at this company, I designed and developed a system module to manage the inventory for residual product from the factory.
