The Company’s principal opportunity consisted of a negotiated production sharing contract on a million acre offshore block, with an estimated light oil resource of over 1 billion barrels, in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam:- Oversee all technical and economic evaluations of shallow-water exploration blocks within the un-disputed maritime claim areas of Southeast China Sea;- Created opportunities by identifying, negotiating and securing strategic exploration opportunities which fit the Company’s mandates;- Sourced and negotiated four private equity placements and one bridge financing totaling Cdn $53 million and generating a 300% share price appreciation in 12 months ; and- Lead role in all key government (Ministry of Industry and Trade) and PetroVietnam Oil and Gas Group negotiations and joint venture agreement with strategic partner - PertroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation, the largest subsidiary of PetroVietnam Oil and Gas Group.

Company’s achievements included two corporate acquisitions, a Leduc light oil discovery and pioneering the development of a heavy oil asset by horizontal drilling. Company became public in 2006 through a reverse takeover of High Plain Energy Inc: Responsibilities prior to 2008;- Sourcing key management team and assembling high profile board of directors from both public and private equity providers;- Coordinating all board businesses including assembling various board committees and establishing their mandates for shareholders;- Advisory role as Chairman on deal sourcing, private and public equity financings and the business combination on two publicly traded energy companies; Responsibilities from January 2008 to September 2009; - Requested by the Board to add an additional role as President & CEO with a mandate of financial restructuring;- Extinguished $8 million Flow Through obligation through off balance sheet promotion to third parties;- Responsible for the formulating of a $10.5 million land fund for exploration with two Quebec pension partners to acquire crown land on a light oil resource play;- Lead role in negotiation of a $9 million drilling agreement with Crescent Point and a private company to fulfill all drilling and financial commitments associated with the terms of the land fund. The oil discovery led to a 1,500 bopd development;- Completed two shallow gas acquisitions from Gulf Canada and Marathon Oil & Gas with $2.8 million in equity;- Assembled a technical team and a board of directors;- Sourced and negotiated four private equity placements at progressive share price appreciation totaling Cdn $8.5 million; and- Initiated, negotiated and closed sale of the company for $60 million to EOG Canada.

Co-founder of private, Calgary-based, exploration and acquisition company with Morrison Petroleum Ltd: - Responsible for seeking and evaluating producing assets with upside reserve potential;- Acquired a 450 bopd oil pool from Texaco Resources and grew it to 1,300 bopd; and- Led the negotiation and closed a corporate merger to form Real Resources Ltd., resulting in substantial return to shareholders.

Morrison was a publicly traded exploration and production company based in Calgary, with assets primarily in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. In January 1990, Morrison had production of approximately 2,000 bopd, mainly from assets in Southern Alberta. The company grew to 10,000 bopd of production by March 1994 primarily through major oil discovers in Thompson Lake and Provost Region of East Central Alberta. - Company offered employee participation on their own exploration projects;- Responsible for prospect generation and evaluation; - Requested by Company to work on Provost Area after the Company encountered a series of exploration failures. Responsible for the re-establishing of a new, economically sound, repeatable exploration model;- Recommended the Company revisit several areas where previous exploration efforts failed to identify drilling opportunities;- Discovered oil pools with Morrison as a partner at Thompson Lake, Halkirk and Sounding Lakes areas, as the results of a new interpretation model; and- Thompson Lake was listed in the top 10 Canadian Oil and Gas Discoveries of the decade in 1992, by the Oil & Gas Journal.

Texaco Canada Resources Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Texaco Inc. based in White Plain, New York. Texaco was one of the 10 largest integrated oil and gas companies in the world before its merger with Chervon to form ChervonTexaco in 2001.- Responsible for prospect generation, evaluation and the establishment of exploration model in a variety of projects; - Discovered Slave Point and Granite Wash light oil pools in the Peace River Arch area, and a significant Doig gas pool in the Sinclair area, Alberta;- Responsible for preparing annual Northern Alberta Exploration Group budget for corporate approval; and- Served in the Texaco-Esso Exploration Synergy Team, responsible for the design and implementation of the exploration strategy for the combined organization (over 80 G&G professionals).

- Replaced the head of the Geophysics Department (on sabbatical) to teach “Geophysical Information Theory” – a first year compulsory course for all students pursuing a Master Degree in Geophysics; and- Responsible for the preparing, teaching and grading course materials, and advising on research materials for students on their graduation thesis.
