Engineering manager for Military APU group.

Provide both technical and project leadership of a newly-formed Product Cost Management (PCM) team across the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Product Portfolio. As the engineering team lead, this role works closely with APU project engineering leadership team, Marketing & Product Management (M&PM), Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME)/Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and other relevant functional organizations across Aerospace to define and execute high value projects, to achieve competitive product cost targets, while embracing a sustaining model of continuous improvement.

Managed seven PP&C Analysts located across the US and in Canada.Responsible for development, maintenance, and reporting to management all programmatic metrics for the AT&R Boeing PMOS group’s Tanker and 747/777 programs representing ~ $136M in spend.Direct point of contact with the customer regarding overall program scheduling coordination between the two companies. This includes the associated data, logic, and error checking with reporting to management at both companies on a weekly basis.Execute monthly analyses of cost and schedule performance and variation from plan based on earned value, including estimate at completion, and implement Baseline Change Management accordingly
