Responsible for all aspects of the subcontractor’s delivery of Instrumentation, Data Acquisition and Control (ID&C) engineering support services to the prime contractor. Provide strategic leadership to a diverse organization of approximately 200 hardware and software engineers responsible for the ID&C systems and support required for aerospace ground test operations and delivery of ID&C related capital improvements. Assess long-term engineering resource needs across a broad organization, develop staffing plans, and lead implementation of those plans. Lead development of engineering standards, processes, procedures, mentorship programs, and workforce development tools for implementation across the line organization. Ensure implementation of best practices across the enterprise. Review designs, risk assessments, risk mitigation strategies, budgets and schedules to ensure the success of critical projects. Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
