Employed to develop 2 projects. The 'Airport Welcome' assignment constituted of creating 5 videos in German, Spanish, Italian, Czech and Slovak. The idea behind was to welcome tourists and provide them with the necessary information, upon their arrival in Mauritius. The Connections airport booth is now equipped with a tablet (+ speakers) where tourists can select their language and receive a quick briefing.The second project was the 'Excursions Videos'. It consisted of filming the activities that tourists and locals experience during a selection of Connections' best excursions. Responsible for shooting and editing 11 clips. The company wanted a semi-professional looking clip for each excursion. The reasoning behind was that tourists often make their own amateur souvenir clips, thus by making a 2-3 minutes teaser it would help them understand what Connections' brochure has to offer (in a realistic sense) and hopefully inspire them to make their own souvenirs. Clips are available upon request.

The bank was carrying out a survey amongst its customers with investment portfolios (mainly high-profile clients). Half of the day was spent on the phone setting up appointments, while the other half was meeting the customers themselves and carrying out the survey. The process was a little intimidating at first, but the investors were genuinely enthusiastic at the opportunity to give some feedback and ultimately improve the range of services offered by the bank. A humbling experience due to the fact that the process involved dealing with highprofile customers. Was given the opportunity to renew contract, but chose to focus on freelance Marketing.

As a brand promoter, the diverse activities went from distributing vouchers and free chicken samples, to negotiating catering activities and cross-brand promotions. The direct contact with customers was fun and extremely motivating. Who would have thought that some people would actually refuse free Nandos chicken? Obstacles and challenges always take on different shapes, but in the end, the right choice of words was/is generally the key to overcoming these hurdles.

The company was affiliated to the Bunnings Warehouse stores around Melbourne. This is where the sales representatives were placed, in order to have direct contact with the public (potential customers). The leads / sales targets were challenging but with the right approach, it was possible to convince people to buy the Solar First products. Soft skills acquired along the years were extremely valuable for this position. Unfortunately the marketing campaign was discontinued in July.
