Day to day management responsibility for 19 development engineers located in 3 different locations (Chicago IL, Andover MA, & New Delhi India).

Director Programs / Operation • Senior manager in a privately held product development startup involved in contract product engineering. Responsibilities include development of “Statement of Work” defining product features/cost/resource requirements, release to MFG including customer management to achieve the overall P&L goals.• Managed 41 product development projects to successful completion, returning average project margin of 29%. (Controlled a $10.6M operating budget)• Managed the New Product Introduction process for all projects. This included coordination of all purchasing/sourcing of raw materials, development of manufacturing documentation, coordination of prototype assembly, test program/fixture development and management of required “Agency” testing/approvals. • Instituted a “Client Management” focus, resulted in a 26% improvement in Customer Satisfaction Index with new revenue growth of 21%.

Staffed and managed multi site International Development teams, 37 engineers located in 3 countries with yearly operating budget of $7.2M. • Successfully led Mergers & Acquisition team in the purchase and integration of a $15M software company.• Negotiated key OEM agreements with positive revenue impacts of $6.1M /year.• Successfully led the product development and launch efforts of 200+ new products developed by the 8 –multi site International development teams, positive yearly revenue impact of $68M.Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer 1988 - 1991• Responsible for the implementation and successful launch of a Joint Venture Offshore (China) MFG facility. • Implemented “Surface Mount Technology” to the company. Purchased all the equipment, set up training programs for all employees, worked with Purchasing, Materials and Engineering staff to ensure the transition to SMT products was successful.
