Responsibilities included; product definition, business development, management of product development activities, and Strategic Account Management.• Managed the design and development of “WealthSense” Product, a web enabled product solution for the non-qualified benefits market. Day to day management responsibility for 19 development engineers located in 3 different locations (Chicago IL, Andover MA, & New Delhi India).

Director Programs / Operation • Senior manager in a privately held product development startup involved in contract product engineering. Responsibilities include development of “Statement of Work” defining product features/cost/resource requirements, release to MFG including customer management to achieve the overall P&L goals.• Managed 41 product development projects to successful completion, returning average project margin of 29%. (Controlled a $10.6M operating budget)• Managed the New Product Introduction process for all projects. This included coordination of all purchasing/sourcing of raw materials, development of manufacturing documentation, coordination of prototype assembly, test program/fixture development and management of required “Agency” testing/approvals. • Instituted a “Client Management” focus, resulted in a 26% improvement in Customer Satisfaction Index with new revenue growth of 21%.

• Worldwide engineering responsibility for the development and Launch of 2 new Industrial Automation Product Lines. This included managing the process of converting marketing/customer requirement into product definitions, creating product development plans, budgets, program/engineering staffing plans, and working with manufacturing and customer service organizations on the delivery of products while acting as the key interface to senior management.
