The Additive Manufacturing and Prototyping Facility (AMPF) is the first shared-use 3D printing center dedicated to supporting Stanford University's research enterprise. AMPF currently consists of state-of-the-art, manufacturing-quality, commercial 3D printers (Carbon M2, Carbon L1, and a Carbon Smart Part Washer). This advanced 3D printing facility will enable digital design, prototyping, and small-scale production as an integrated innovation hub that will be a key pillar for innovation and commercialization for investigators spanning the Stanford campus and Silicon Valley. AMPF will also feed into the overall goals of the Precision Health and Integrated Diagnostics Center (PHIND), including revolutionizing healthcare leading to better and more productive lives for individuals. We work with faculty, staff, students, and local industry to design and make digitally the physical products needed to support their research needs to help usher in a new era of rapid product iteration and innovation, especially end-use quality products designed and made on a scalable product manufacturing platform.

Carbon (www.carbon3d.com) is a Silicon Valley startup producing industrial grade 3D printers and resins for enterprise, contract manufacturing, and dental applications. Production wins include the adidas 4D FWD midsole, Specialized S-Works Power Mirror Saddle, Ford Mustang GT500 electric parking brake brackets, as well as complete digital denture solutions and rapid clear aligner model printing for dental labs. As Senior Education Partner II, I have a multitude of responsibilities including:+ Lead creator of all site prep, dental, and resin educational content – Project manage a team of scientists, engineers, and product managers; gather and synthesize data; compose and create educational copy and graphics using industry standard applications; photograph, produce video content, and edit via industry standard applications such as Photoshop.+ Conduct in-person classes for employees and customers - Teach theory and hands-on beginner through advanced classes covering printer dynamics, print OS software (part orientation, supports, and layout), application selection, printing, and post-processing of parts.+ Administrate corporate Learning Management System (LMS) - Work as part of a team implementing a new LMS, managing users, permissions, and content.+ Carbon Culture - Participate in Employee Resource Groups (ERG) including PRIDE and People of Color (POC).

Completed and successfully defended my dissertation for an education doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership through the USC Rossier School of EducationDissertation focus: Accommodations and Differentiated Instruction for SLD and ADHD Secondary StudentsUSC Rossier School of Education’s mission is to prepare leaders to achieve educational equity through practice, research and policy. ◆ Direct experience with data security protocols, Institutional Review Board (IRB), Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI), and human subjects research with personally identifiable information for dissertation study.◆ Remote collaboration with doctoral cohort located across the US and abroad via live video conferencing, the Learning Management System, and shared online documents.◆ Currently serve as Secretary for the Rossier Association of Distance Learners for graduate students.◆ Mentor doctoral students from later cohorts.◆ Attended the ASU + GSV Conference (educational technology meets venture capital) representing Rossier Organizational Change and Leadership Ed.D. program.

OA serves diverse 8th-12th grade students (mild/moderate learning differences, social/emotional issues, and students from underperforming urban schools). As Asst. Head my leadership responsibilities included:Faculty/Administrative oversight – Hired/evaluated all faculty including in-class observations with tailored written recommendations. Managed/mentored admin team. Supervised all employees (teachers, office staff, and operations). Served as acting Head as needed. Professional Development - Coordinated/customized all PD to spur growth, curiosity, and team building. Promoted integration of innovative teaching strategies and technology.  Curriculum – Ensured quality instructional programs, including on-line/hybrid delivery models, with focus on maximizing critical thinking, integrating technology and collaborative/project-based learning. Communication – Effectively communicated, orally and in writing, with stakeholders re budget, curriculum, and strategic planning. Efficiently/respectfully managed grievances. Ensured all communications were consistent with OA’s mission, culturally competent, and promoted diversity (ethnic, socioeconomic, religious, and LGBTQ) and acceptance. Technology – Oversaw all aspects of OA’s technology, including security, infrastructure and integration. Administrator for a high school with approximately 350 students. College Prep is nationally recognized for its educational excellence, community service, ethical development, and leadership. I inspired the creative and successful use of technology by students, faculty, and administration by crafting and administering innovative, engaging, and challenging training and workshops. Managed the technology department, including hiring, supervising and mentoring staff and overseeing the annual technology budget. Supervising webmaster. Served as a member of numerous committees, including Student Life, Admissions, Curriculum, Professional Development, Global Education, and the Diversity Committee. Participated with students at the National Association of Independent Schools People of Color Conference. Coached Boys and Girls Volleyball.

Taught “Implications of Social & Technological Change” to secondary and elementary education teachers. Utilized state of the art teaching techniques, including multimedia presentations, project-based and experiential learning, and humor to fuel learning and retention.

Taught math and science and planned and implemented regular and assistive technologies for bright, severely dyslexic students (grades 1–8). Promoted to Director of Technology. Designed and delivered original, content-rich, and engaging training programs for faculty. Provided one-on-one coaching to enhance teachers’ use of multi-modal strategies and technology in their classrooms. Developed and led inspiring and atypical outdoor education opportunities for students (e.g., teaching students to sail).

Taught Earth Science, Life Science and Algebra 1 in a large, ethnically diverse, public high school in a low socioeconomic community outside of Washington D.C. Created and implemented experiential learning opportunities for disenfranchised youth, including outdoor education trips (e.g., exploring in the Chesapeake Bay, and visiting NASA’s Goddard Space Center).
