Work under the direction of the General Manager and Engineering Manager for technical research into product development and improvement of existing products and manufacturing methods.Identify potential product areas for research and improvement possibilities.Current development project is research into overall package sound pressure level attenuation through optimization of cooler fan performance and sizing/selection criteria during project engineering.Evaluation methods include working with sub-vendors on performance and sound level prediction as well as implementation in existing standard packages to take test data against a control packageFinal reports to management on feasibility, cost and performance will influence future implementation and standard design criteria

Work under the direction of the General Manager and Engineering Manager as the sales team technical interface with the engineering department for custom engineered air compression equipment and packaging.Interface with potential customers directly in support of the sales staff to provide recommendations and clarifications.Read and analyze customer provided specifications for potential conflicts and deviations with the available equipment.Make technical recommendations to the sales staff on best fit applications and potential limitations of a customer request.Prepare price makeups, quotations and preliminary layout drawings for potential projects in support of the sales staff.Occasionally travel to customer locations with the sales staff for technical support during the quotation process both locally and internationally.

Performed various engineering tasks such as motor and drive sizing and assisted the project team in the design and installation of automated conveyor systems.Made changes to project drawings as noted in markups and customer requests with approval from the project lead.Helped implement 3D system design using FactoryCAD
