Over 33 years ago, after graduating from Drake University, I was incredibly blessed to land my first of many sales roles with one of THE premier healthcare companies in the world, Johnson & Johnson. I spent 25 years with J&J, taking advantage of every opportunity to broaden my sales leadership experiences, with an eye towards teaching others. This includes getting exposure to and proving myself in a variety of industries, functional areas and company sizes & cultures. When my J&J career ended, I purposely pursued companies / positions that would further broaden my experiences and professional network. This all led to me taking all of my career experiences and creating value for small to medium-size companies as part of a organization I founded in 2020 - BEACON Sales Advisory Group, LLC. As President (and Principal Advisor) of BEACON, LLC, I provide to these small to mid-sized companies the sales leadership and/or council needed to deliver record breaking growth. Today, I have completely shifted my focus, time and passion to an area that is way more personal and very much needed. Having received a cancer diagnosed in early 2021, it is now my mission in life to be a difference maker for those who are in the midst of their own cancer battle. I am now involved in a variety of capacities with non-profit organizations focused on Pancreatic Cancer - research and patient advocacy. Very honored to be part of these teams with the right area of focus.
