During my four years at McGill University, I had the opportunity to learn basic principles related to aeronautic design and its development. I also took several courses where the material learnt in class could be applied to a more practical context in the form of several team projects. These projects not only gave me invaluable experience in the field of aerospace engineering, but also improved my leadership skills. Moreover, my thesis work, concentrated on dynamic modelling and control design, has enabled me to expand my knowledge in the particular field. My working experience in the service industry for more than four years has helped improve my talents relevant to work involving clients as well as my social skills. In the working environment, I was often asked to take a leadership role and that has enhanced my growth as an individual. My aptitude to understand people’s needs with ease and the ability to work efficiently in teams together with my social skills are some of the competencies that I have developed during my time in the service industry.
