Led technical teams to identify and acquire assets and then exploit same. Company grew from no assets to ownership in over 6,000 wells across multiple states. Assets ranged from East Texas to Anadarko Basin to Hugoton Field to Rockies.Company sold to El Paso.

Co-founder of firm. Assisted in negotiations between Denver private oil company and Chevron to combine Utah upstream assets and recapitalize combined company. Led technical teams through the drilling of 287 wells over 18 month time frame in Uinta basin. Targets included northern extension of Natural Buttes Wasatch gas play and Green River oil wells in the Red Wash complex.Sold company to Questar.

As a consultant worked for broad spectrum of clients across the globe. Areas included Kazakstan, North Slope of Alaska, Venezuela, Sakhalin Island, Caspian region of Russia, as well as many domestic projects.Largest clients included BP, Shell, and Mobil.Study results for the Sakhalin Island project were presented to the Duma for project approval.Venezuelan project was of a deep water flood project under Lake Maracaibo in the West Urdeneta Field.
