Re careered as arts educator and fine art appraiser after two highly successful earlier careers: consumer electronics business development and strategy consultant and buying group head . 10 years as volunteer docent/lecturer for the Milwaukee Art Museum. Over 10 years as class developer, lead coordinator most frequent lecturer for Northwestern University-Lifelong Learning Institute's Exploring the Visual Arts program. Upon relocation to SouthEast Florida, committed as Fine Arts Appraiser in 2021. Transitioned to becoming member of the International Society of Appraisers from earlier American Society of Appraisers membership. Completed ISA Core program in Fine Arts Appraisal, 2021 Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice credential and currently enrolled in ISA's Fine Arts specialty connoisseurship course. Innovative, engaging and scholarly instructor of art and art apprecation for adult and continuing / lifelong learning programs. Created high participation class format for classroom and virtual use. Designed exciting curriculum for art study centering around big events in the history of art. Ultra high student engagement during study of Paris Art Salon / Impressionism, Ashcan American Art School and American and European Modern art at the 1913 NY Armory Art Show. Introduction to art history delivered as my unique Get Excited Looking At Art module. The Get Excited module draws on newly earned Master of Arts in Art History, from learnings from 10 years touring walk in visitors at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and, from 10 years leading/ co coordinating and lecturing Northwestern University’s Osher Lifelong Learing Institute, art appreciation class: Exploring the Visual Arts. Art market insights refined while studying at the Sotheby’s Institute - London, and art appraisal findings, heighten student interest.Prior to re-careering from directing the nations leading audio and video buying consortium, consulted in the Emphasis on assisting several start-u2015-2018 clients included: Inhance Mobile Technology: where we launched mobile device software solutions for instant trade in valuations, security, device health on handsets and tablets with the largest Verizon dealers in North America.For AIG launched first product protection plans Amazon (Kindle) and Barnes & Noble (Nook).Prior to forming HBR, for 11 years was President/Executive Director of the $2 Billion PRO Buying Group of leading specialty audio/video retailers. Pre-PRO, he was a Founding Shareholder of the International Jensen and Advent audio/electronics companies.
