Over 20 years of experience in the digital and online media industry, as an educator, entrepreneur, Project Manager, Producer, Graphic Designer, Creative Director, Information Architect and more recently as a Learning Designer. Working in both the public and private sector, with an emphasis on managing innovative, cutting edge e-learning projects, and with a proven track record in taking large scale projects from vision to delivery, on time and on budget. A common feature of most projects has been strong adherence to user centred design with rigorous testing, reporting and documentation, in highly political, multi stakeholder environments. Project methodologies used have ranged from traditional Waterfall to Agile.For six of these years, as co-founder and Director of a successful digital development start-up company, responsibilities also included high level business development and management tasks. Successfully managing costs and efficiencies, developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders in a business to business environment.Demonstrated high level communication skills in written reports, tenders and marketing documents: pitching to senior business leaders, public speaking, presenting at academic conferences, and chairing committees comprising senior state education department policy makers and academics.Strong e-learning credentials demonstrated in multiple roles, while working on several award-winning projects.
