Rogerio Founded GAP Optique in Switzerland in 1993 a company focused on optical fiber measurements and after sold to EXFO (NASDAQ: EXFO). He founded MLS WIRELESS S.A. in Rio de Janeiro where he is President. Rogerio has been involved in different areas: optics, telecommunications, underwater oil exploration, Internet and IT. He received the B.Sc. (Electronic Eng.) and M.Sc. degree in Physics from PUC-Rio and Ph.D. degree in Physics from University of Geneva. In 1992 he received a Technology innovation prize in Switzerland.He was Professor of telecom at PUC-Rio, Maître-Assistant at Physics department at Geneva University. He is Author of more that 80 conference and journal papers on IEEE, OSA and other scientific journals and 10 pattens.Rogerio speaks Portuguese, English and French.
