The last 20 years, I have dedicated to Research on Internal Combustion Engines. In 2003, I started to write my history in ICE field with a Master's degree. Then, in the end of 2005, I went to a renowned Research Center, CMT-Motores Termicos, in Spain for a Doctorate on Diesel Combustion, which I ended in 2010, obtaining Cum Lauden degree, the highest in that academy.From 2009 until 2013, I used to work at FIAT, first in the Engineering Department with GT-Power simulation and later, as a Researcher in the Special Projects Department, developing the Ethanol Project. At the end of that period, I was the coordinator of the R&D - Special Projects and the Combustion and Flow researcher for ICE in the Powertrain Engineering at FIAT.I was a professor at the Mechanical Engineering Post-Graduation Department at Pontificia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais in charge of Internal combustion engines research until december 2023.Currently, I am a Post-doctoral researcher at CTM (Centro de Tecnologia da Mobilidade/UFMG). I am supporting 2 research projetcs: 1 - Influence of nanocatalyst on emissions and performance of an engine fuelled with gaseous fuel.2 - Development and Application of Viable Technologies in Flex-fuel Engines to Achieve High Efficiency with Drastic NMOG Reduction (ROTA 2030 research project)Specialties: LTC diffusion Diesel combustion, Internal combustion engines, flex engines, Diesel combustion, pollutant formation and control, investigation project planning and management.
