I was brought on at Shoreline Container due to my previous accomplishments in process improvement, as well as my managerial expertise. They were experiencing inadequate processes in customer order fulfillment, as well as multiple personnel issues. Once I corrected the personnel problems, I was able to work with the remainder of the team to increase productivity from 62% to 97%; the errors in parts per million (PPM) went from 4,491 to 882 in the short time I was with them

Abcor is a fairly young company. I was brought in to be the tooling manager and the setup reduction champion for the CNC routers. Within the first 90 days of employment after organizing, I standardized the CNC tooling for all four CNC routers and various customer requirements. With my efforts I was able to derive standard lengths for tool setting on the optical comparator, which omitted the qualifying, or teaching, of tooling on the machine, greatly reducing setup time. When I first came to Abcor the average setup time was in excess of one and one half hours. Once all improvements were implemented the daily average setup was reduced by 82%, or 17 minutes per setup. As a result the daily capacity hours were increased signaicantly by the same 82%.

My position included assembling floor scrubbing machines in six different positions on an assembly line. I was relied on heavily to “push” our team into making greater strides toward labor hours per machine.

This position is responsible to coordinate customer pre design, Factory Acceptance Testing and internal testing. The manager coordinates facility improvements and maintenance, through the use of outside contractors. Additionally, the manager will plan the utilization of facility, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operation.

As the owner and operator, I am responsible for negotiating purchases, refurbishing to market ready status and then selling manufactured homes. I also refurbish homes for TC Financial Holdings.

As General Manager, I was responsible for day-to-day operating procedures. My responsibilities included purchasing and relocating mobile homes, preparing homes to be sold and then finally selling the home. This included preparing a work list for crews, advertising, showings and closings. In the 20 months employed by Durango Enterprises, I sold 84 homes totaling $966,000.00 in sales.

I was responsible for hiring, training and managing mobile home park managers to their job description. My responsibilities were for all physical property and improvements, which included all aspects of upkeep, maintenance and all improved capital improvements. With this position, came responsibility of maximizing occupancy levels at all properties; including coordinating all advertising, marketing, recruitment and retention of residents. As the District Manager for KJK Real Estate Management, I was responsible for sales of Lakeshore Homes, LLC, including purchasing homes, advertising, showings, closings, appraisals and overseeing inventory.

I was responsible for all plant management, overseeing all three shifts. This included all assembling, packaging and shipping of manufactured and purchased products.

In the position of Production Manager, I was responsible for all plant production of three shifts, including all assembly, packaging, shipping and receiving of manufactured and purchased products. In the initial 12 months, I increased plant efficiency from 88% to 100%.
