Over the past five years I had been working with the team at Developp on a number of IT projects with three of my companies. When the pandemic hit my tradeshow division was hit the hardest and I decided to divest all my events. I purchased an ebike retail shop but knew I that I needed to also diversify and invest in other businesses that were also on a growth cycle and much more resilient and adaptable to world events then my tradeshow business was. After much research and conversations with contacts in the IT world it cemented my beliefs that the future of SAAS, VR, AR, Big Data, AI etc was still in its infancy and there was a lot of opportunity to contribute to this exciting and fascinating sector. It was at that point I decided to invest and ultimately become a partner with Developp to help grow the company in North America and around the world.
