Designed and developed DevOps dashboard for near-time monitoring of all production energy pricing systems. Worked to integrate new pricing workflows written in Node. Modified existing workflows to improve queries and code performance by over an order of magnitude. Designed and developed a pricing status screen to aid the pricing team in diagnosing and resolving shortcomings of historical usage data.

Migrated the NowIMS application from an early Angular 2 prototype to a finished React 16 SaaS product. Worked closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize product requirements. Designed and implemented CQRS data access services layer as well as authentication and authorization policies using Google’s Firestore. Automated serverless deployment and Google project bootstrapping for deployment. Established and documented source control policies for maintenance of multiple customer deployments.

Designed and implemented the FatChat dealer auction and sales platform allowing car dealers to perform real-time auctioning via SMS of used inventory. Drove key architecture decisions for cloud migration, hosting, operations, and inventory management. Established best-practices for the engineering department in docker orchestration using Kubernetes and Google Cloud hosting. Demonstrated and promoted use of Google's GRPC services and Endpoints technologies to provides access controls and interface contract enforcement for our cloud services. Migrated Vroom.com away from proprietary solutions to using industry standard approaches for searching inventory via elasticsearch. Implemented Vroom's cloud-based inventory management and related API to help the organization migrate and automate more business processes in the cloud.

Designed and implemented the SmartVault Connected Desktop which provided a Windows shell-like experience to end users for remote folder/file storage. Implemented a client-side cache layer, asynchronous uploading, in-place editing and printing, and cloud-based sharing of documents via RESTful HTTP services. Helped Negotiate COM interface contracts with Intuit developers to build a cloud-migration for consumer documents stored in Intuit's DMS. The Connected Desktop continues to be a key part of SmartVault's SaaS offering for Intuit Bookkeeping professionals.

Optimized and retooled the core storage engine behind FatDB providing a 10x performance boost using less than 10% of the memory as the prior version. Increased the maximum storage volume by 10x to allow 'big-data' storage of over 100 million records on low-cost hardware. Recommended and demonstrated moving to protocol-buffers and Win32 RPC for communications as an alternative to WCF which was approved and implemented and saw a 50x increase in throughput.
