My professional goal is to manage challenging/complex projects involving building systems to help clients and peers with solutions to save energy and lower maintenance cost, while improving the indoor environment.Affiliated Engineers brought me back to Madison in project management. I started here at Pearson Engineering after high school and then as Project Engineer after university. HGA recruited me as Director of Mechanical Engineering in Milwaukee. We tripled the size of the department, added specialty staff, and I became an Associate Vice President. Henneman Engineering then recruited me as Senior Engineer/Project Manager for their new Milwaukee office. Over 300 building studies, designs or construction projects, including boiler and chiller plants and distribution, replacement hospital, Life Safety upgrades, medical facilities, laboratories, pharmacies, food processing, industrial, cruise ships, etc.Member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers as past Chairman of TC9.6 Healthcare and vice-chair of Guideline 1.3 Training. Past Chairman of NFPA99 Mechanical Technical Committee, and on Health Guidelines Revision Committee for the 2010 edition.Previously supported the UW-Milwaukee Architecture and Urban Planning - Building Information Modeling and Integrated Practice advanced studies studio.As a Master Mason, I received the Brooks Award in 2004 for our work to purchase Automatic External Defibrillators for local high schools. I coached hockey for Madison West High School and Team Wisconsin after coaching for West Flyers and VP of Fund Raising board member. I still play pond hockey for AEI.
