Upper School Physical Meets Digital Instructor - Student curriculum advances the basic knowledge of the MakerSpace tools, and requires students to model 2D objects in Adobe Illustrator and 3D objects in OpenSCAD, Autodesk, or Solidworks CAD software. These projects are then prototyped and constructed using 3D printers, laser cutters, or CNC machines. Students also gain hands on experience with basic electronics and circuits using Arduino programming.Former - 6th Grade MAKE Instructor (Introduction to Engineering) - Student curriculum is based around hands-on learning with tools in the creation of projects such as bridges and siege weapons. Students learn the basics of modern design and use tools like Inkscape and TinkerCAD to model improvements for their previous projects before constructing them.
