I have held numerous sales and marketing leadership positions during my career. I started as a salesman with IBM on the Caterpillar Tractor account in Peoria, Illinois. This included an exciting international assignment covering the Caterpillar Dealers outside of the US. Next, I was the Sales Manager on the Motorola account in Schaumburg, Illinois and then the Account Executive for the McDonnell Douglas account in St Louis, Missouri. In these roles, I had direct sales/marketing responsibility, as well as team leadership/management responsibilities.I left IBM after 12 years to go to Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting. This was a big step into an industry not really known marketing and sales. At Andersen, I held local, regional and national M&S positions. My last position, my "dream job", was becoming the CMO for the US...and then Enron hit. So after 8 years with Andersen, and recently becoming a partner, I had to find another job.I started with PwC as the US Business Development Leader, located in Tysons Corner, Virginia. This was a great job, traveling from coast to coast hiring, training, motivating and measuring sales professionals. After 4 years, I became the Business Development Leader for PwC's Washington Metro Market. I really enjoyed being back in a market, meeting with clients again and directly leading a marketing and sales team.In the fall of 2011, I became the East Region Business Development Leader with PwC. I have responsibility for the marketing and sales people and programs from Boston to Miami (not including NYC). Effective in August of 2017 I became the US & Mexico Sales Leader for PwC. In this role I have responsibility for leveraging our sales resources (people, process and technology) across PwC's lines of service (Advisory, Assurance and Tax) for the US and Mexico Markets.PwC is a great place to work.
