Head Engineer at the Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom)/Norwegian Post and Telecommunications Authority (PT).- 17 years of experience in leading and contributing to various aspects of standardisation, regulations, licensing, R&D, and market surveillance in the fields of radio, telecommunications, and broadcast. - Passionate about ensuring the quality, safety, and compatibility of electronic products and systems that serve the public interest and the industry needs. Special focus on standardisation activites in the International Electrotechnical Committee (IEC), the European Standardisation Organizations ETSI and CENELEC and the national standisation organisations Nkom, NEK and Standard Norge.- The leader of NEK NK-EMC, the Norwegian mirror committee of several international EMC committees: CENELEC TC210, IEC TC 77, IEC TC 77 A, IEC TC 77 B, IEC TC 77 C, IEC CISPR, IEC CISPR A, IEC CISPR B, IEC CISPR D, IEC CISPR F, IEC CISPR H and IEC CISPR I.- Nkom delegate to the ETSI Nationals Standards Organizations Group (ETSI NSOG)- Nkom delegate to the ETSI National Standardisation Body Group (ETSI NSBG). - Nkom delegate to the ETSI committee on EMC and radio spectrum matters (ETSI TC ERM) which is responsible for a lot of interaction with the European Commission and CEPT/ECC.ETSI develops standards for radio and telecommunications industry, including how to do measurements for effient use of frequencies, electromagnetic compatibility, cyber security etc.Through my roles, I influence and shape the standards and policies that affect the telecommunications and radio sector in Norway and beyond. I am also a participant in NEK eTransport Forum, where I share my expertise and insights on key EMC standards related to the challenges and opportunities of electric and autonomous vehicles.
