Horizon is in the business of acquiring and developing cellular towers and related infrastructure in the western states for lease to multiple wireless carriers.

Served as CFO for this Registered Investment Advisor/Mutual Fund Sponsor. This mutual fund is a fund of sub-advisors of alternative strategies. I tracked and directed sub-advisor trades, monitored margin requirements and directed approprite collateral movement. Reviewed daily changes to NAV and tracked performance. Reviewed and and approved fund expenditures. Reviewed and approved fund budgets and related daily accruals. Maintained and fostered key third party relationships with fund administrators,custodians,accountants and sub-advisors.

Full financial and accounting responsibility for several private equity fund families ( main funds, side funds, co-investment funds ). Duties include tracking partner participation throughout fund life cycle: subscriptions,capital calls, and distributions. Coordinate quarterly and annual reports in compliance with fair value standards. Track follow-on rounds and impact on existing holdings. Calculate management fee and waterfall. Coordinate all aspects of annual audits and facilitate preparation of tax returns and distribution of K-1s. Foster relations with portfolio company counterparts

Served as CFO for this full-service regional broker/dealer. Responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, and financial regulatory reporting. Sutro had 200 employees. I managed a staff of 12.
