Bumi Armada Berhad (“BAB”) is a Malaysia-based international offshore energy facilities and services provider with a presence in over 10 countries spread across four continents, supported by over 1,100 people from over 29 nationalities. It is one of the largest Floating Production Storage Offloading (“FPSO”) players in the world offering a range of life of field capabilities including design and build, installation, commissioning and operation and maintenance of FPSOs.Primary responsibility for Legal and Company Secretarial functions of BAB and its subsidiary companies (“Group”). Serves as primary advisor to the Board and management on the legal implications of all major decisions, strategies and transactions of the Group, and facilitates the business and corporate objectives of the Group by providing solution oriented advice and counsel. Serves as key lawyer and negotiator on major business transactions, including charters, merger and acquisitions, strategic partnership deals and joint ventures, and related arrangements such as debt and equity raising.

Independent global legal counsel with 30+ years experience advising both oil & gas E&P companies as well as full spectrum engineering & construction service organisations in all major geographies. Key deliverables offered include:- advice and support with M&A transactions;- commercial negotiations;- dispute management and resolution; and- the identification and management of legal risk in organisations generally.

Petrofac is a full spectrum oil services company offering services including engineering, construction, procurement, project management, well engineering, asset management, technical services, operation and maintenance services, training, quality assurance and emergency response. The Group is also highly acquisitive and has grown inorganically and organically to its current size of revenue $6.5B and 12,500 employees. Full responsibility for identification and management of legal risk across the Petrofac Group of companies, leading a team of 20 lawyers located across the world. Key deliverables include:• Advise ExCom, corporate/functional and business heads through provision of strategic, governance and operational legal/commercial advice• Legal lead on key financial transactions; including bond offering and revolving credit facility • Advise on company law issues including Listing Rules, Market Abuse Regulation and Cosec filings generally• Advise on acquisitions and disposals • Manage the strategy and execution of all major disputes and any resulting litigation/arbitration • Lead on the development of group wide policies and procedures, including Contract Review, Dawn Raid procedures and Internal/External Investigation Protocol • Member of Group Risk Committee: final approval gate prior to Board to assess contractual, regulatory or reputational risk

Provided legal support services to the Hess Group of companies with interests and operations in North West Europe, Central Asia, Africa, South East Asia and Australia. Key deliverables included:• Provision of legal services to all internal clients through in-house team and management of external legal services • Assessment and management of legal risks and compliance in all relevant jurisdictions• Acquisition of two privately held oil concession owner companies in Russia• Co Sec functional responsibility for all of Hess’ European entities • Management of all disputes and any resulting litigation/arbitration in all jurisdictions

Established and managed an in-house legal function in South East Asia.
