My current role has me managing integration, testing, and field engineers in support of various radar programs, including Marine Corps G/ATOR, NAVAIR AN/SPN-50, and NAVSEA AN/SPS-77. Not only do I serve as an advocate for increasing software / hardware automation in testing, but I also lead system integration, requirements management, and software testing.Specific accomplishments include:► Conceptualizing and leading an upgrade to the radar facility of approximately $1.5MM► Controlling program cost accounts in excess of $39MM► Jumpstarting design and build-out of a central radar range control center► Pioneering processes and operational improvements, including a quick reference guide for testing and leading the transition to a fully electronic testing platform► Designing and developing the next-gen mobile test cell

Led combat systems on the LCS Block Buy contract with the Littoral Combat Ship program. Provided reach-back engineering to support delivered vessels. Spearheaded planning yard and operational sustainment while directing management of approximately 30 teammates and upholding cost account of approximately $114.5MM. Specific accomplishments include: ► Managing various program elements, including Mk 110 Gun Weapons Systems, AN/SPS-77 RADAR, Integrated Combat Management System, ES-3601 ESM, SeaRAM, and more. Steered a rapid development and implementation cycle on behalf of the $2.4MM IFF decoupling initiative► Supervising teammates while delivering five complex upgrades to combat management software within a single calendar year and comprising 150+ individual updates► Leading a team in the push to eliminate ESM system interference via a RADAR-absorbent RF collar► Closing 45+ combat systems trial cards and problem reports to avoid approximately $3.2MM in payment retention► Volunteering for responsibilities of instructor for an internal development class► Liaising with high-end customers to strengthen the customer experience

This role saw me responsible for overall system design and the integration of navigation, aviation, mission package, and engineering control system components. I also provided management of several engineering disciplines while gathering requirements, producing design documentation, and more. I also liaised with partners to ensure service continuity and timeliness. Finally, I provided technical guidance to field staff and ship personnel. Specific accomplishments include:► Maintaining a multi-million dollar budget, including $1.2MM to execute LCS4 completion scope-of-work► Conceptualizing and managing the design team for the Central Navigation Provider software, thus saving $130k per hull and reducing recurring material costs by $100k► Managing activities such as total ship shock trials, combat systems ship qualification trials, RIMPAC, final contract trials, structural test fires, and more► Leading a team of 14 system engineers on a day-to-day basis

Oversaw designing, building, and operating electronic ground support equipment aboard sub-orbital rockets. Gathered engineering requirements, installed / maintained / operated sounding rocket launch systems and design / installed / maintained fiber optic data networks. Managed ordinance safety program. Designed printed circuit cards, including fabrication. Executed launch operations for various governmental entities. Specific accomplishments include:► Conceptualizing and creating electrical design for portable advanced design launch support series of devices► Developing engineering requirements for the next generation of vehicle service modules and spin systems► Playing a crucial role in the presentation and execution of dozens of sub-orbital rocket missions► Developing a plan to refurbish 50k rocket launcher, complete with new controls and fiber optics► Supporting ongoing developments and a proposal to win U.S. Navy TESR contract► Contributing to the development of an in-house warehouse inventory control system

As an example, while minor property manager, developed a new tracking database and personally inventoried and bar-coded 3,000+ items. - Lead personnel in conducting difficult on-site repairs of system components that normally would have required depot-level repairs, saving $250,000+ in four-year period.- Provided technical, logistical, planning, operational and test support for numerous programs and contractors conducting system tests and evaluations at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, including Standard Missile, High Energy Laser, Tomahawk, Extended Range Gun Munitions, Theater High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), and Over-The-Horizon RADAR.- Served as ordnance safety officer and launch systems safety officer for build-up and launching of numerous sub-orbital rocket configurations.

Independent software consultant / developer. Under contract with Trilogy Development Group, wrote custom user interfaces to back-end databases in Visual Basic and Visual C++ for major corporations including Reynolds & Reynolds, Mazda, and Diebold. Database technologies used included MS Access, MS SQL, and Oracle. Also developed test plan and wrote automated test cases to verify functionality of other software.
