Hired in the summer of 2003 I started as a sales associate, learning the product and developing my sales techniques; I began to understand and leanred to adapt to different clients wants and needs. In 2004 I initiated the development of the Internet Sales Department, based on a need to change business practices to accommodate market trends within the industry. I developed a thorough Internet Sales process to ensure accurate follow up, helping to increase closing ratios and gross profit. I successfully managed the marketing of products and services via the Internet while working closely with our web content team to deliver a user friendly ecommerce shopping experience. Over the past seven years it has been one of the most important and profitable departments in the dealership, contributing to 30% of our sales. In September of 2010 we added 3 more members to the Internet department to assist in handling the increased amount of traffic. Doing this, we were able to increase closing percentages 100%.Over the years I became the top sales associate, in both volume and gross profit. In my current position I work closely with the General Manager to hire, train and develop new sales associates. We also work closely on the marketing strategies for the dealership. In my time with Carfagno, I successfully completed the GMAC Finance and Insurance Management training courses while earning Chevrolet Mark of Excellence honors, Chevrolet Sales Certifications and GM Certified Internet Dealer Honors.

While with Chevrolet of Limerick I worked closely with the Sales manager and General Manager to monitor and maintain our 2 million dollar new vehicle inventory. I was responsible for executing dealer trades that maximized profitability, while maintaining desired inventory levels for each make and model. Building solid relationships within the dealer network, helped to achieve these goals. I also was in charge of overseeing the detail staff, ensuring all used vehicles were properly detailed and marketed on our used car lot. New car deliveries were also thoroughly inspected prior to the customer’s arrival in an effort to ensure complete customer satisfaction. As my time progressed I began to work my way into sales, handling the overflow of sales from the showroom floor. I also began solely handling the Internet leads that came into the store.

With Budge Industries I worked on a team responsible for the development of a custom car cover program. I worked closely with the pattern design team, traveling the tri-state area measuring cars for custom patterns. I initiated and maintained professional working relationships with almost every auto dealer, collector and wholesaler in the greater Philadelphia market. I used the internet, and various dealer connections to locate unique and highly desired vehicles to measure for new patterns. Order entry and pattern database management were also intricate daily activities. Handling a large number of customer service related phone calls and emails from various vendors selling our product, helped us to build our pattern database and ensure quality and accuracy of the finished product.

I started at Fort Washington Buick Pontiac as a sales assistant, learning the business and the art of selling cars. I learned the importance of maintaining professionalism and integrity to ensure complete customer satisfaction. I began working in the fleet department, processing courtesy deliveries for our larger corporate fleet leasing customers. Soon after I began processing bids to secure new clients and helping to grow our business. This was also my introduction to some aspects of the finance side of the business. Learning how leases worked, and developing the ability to intelligently discuss them with clients. This experience ultimately led me down the path to a career in the auto industry.
