After working for several years in the field of graphic design and digital court reporting, I realized that I was ready for a new challenge. With a growing interest in technology and a desire to expand my skill set, I made the decision to take a career break to pursue a Fullstack Web Development course.

As a digital court reporter, I not only managed a high volume of transcripts, but also maintained strong communication with clients throughout the reporting process. This involved clarifying job requirements, providing progress updates, and ensuring client satisfaction with the final product. In addition to my reporting duties, I was part of the beta development team for MaxScribe, meeting weekly with the development team to provide feedback and suggestions. Despite the steep learning curve, within three months, I quickly became one of the top performers in the company, handling high-pressure jobs with ease. I was also able to expand my skill set by learning three new software applications in just one month, demonstrating my ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment. Overall, my experience as a digital court reporter allowed me to develop strong time-management, problem-solving, and client communication skills, which I am excited to bring to future opportunities.

During my time as a Communication Design Manager I was responsible for managing multiple high-level internal and external presentations for two Fortune 100 pharma/biopharma companies. This involved communicating with clients to define project scope, establish budgets, and manage milestones. I worked collaboratively with a team of 3-5 other freelancers to ensure that projects were completed on time and to the client's satisfaction. The project budgets for these presentations were often significant, reaching up to $100,000, with design budgets ranging between $30,000 - $60,000. Despite the high-stakes nature of these projects, I was able to successfully manage multiple presentations simultaneously, delivering engaging and effective designs that met and exceeded client expectations.
