Roger D. Sarao is the Vice President of Health Economics & Policy for the Center for Health Analytics, Research & Transformation (CHART) at NJHA. The overall goal of CHART is to provide insights based on data, analytics and informatics that engage groups across the state in collective action to improve the health of New Jerseyans. As Vice President of CHART's Health Economics & Policy division, Mr. Sarao is responsible for creating decision-support reports based on economic modeling and a thorough understanding of state and federal policies affecting healthcare reimbuirsement and finances.Prior to joining the New Jersey Hospital Association, Mr. Sarao was employed as a Supervisor of Consulting Services for KA Consulting, Inc., a healthcare consulting firm based in Edison, NJ. As a supervisor, Mr. Sarao performed financial analyses for hospitals throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, with an emphasis on hospital cost accounting, reimbursement and managed care initiatives.
