Roger Scott Budge-BiographyRoger Scott Budge, originally from Boise, Idaho, is a filmmaker and an Eagle Scout. He wrote, directed and produced his first film short when he was 14 years old. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Radio/TV & Film with a Spanish Minor. He lived in Spain, Madrid in the early to mid 1980's where he wrote a screenplay about the Spanish Civil War of 1936- 39. Mr. Budge is fluent in Spanish and has experience in screen writing as well as video and film production as Cinematographer, Producer or Director.Mr. Budge is the Executive Producer and Founder of ESFERALUZ ENTERTAINMENT- a full service digital imagery production and music video production company focused on producing Feature Films, Music Videos, TV Commercials and Industrials. In 2003 he served as Producer, Assistant Editor and Chief Cinematographer for Welling Films, LLC., for the movie "House of Dreams: The Planet Funk Story" winning Gold & Platinum REMI awards in the 2006 and 2007 at WorldFest Houston International Film Festival.He has produced and directed several projects from music videos to feature films. In 2006 he founded REAL TIME PICTURES responsible for producing the Platinum award winning Docu-Drama "THE MESSENGER: 360 Days of Bolivar" winning awards in several film festivals.In 2010-2011 Mr. Budge produced and served as DP for "Project Aether" which won the Critics Choice for Best World Premiere of the 2011 Houston International Film Festival. In his most recent work as Director of Photography for Welling Films Mr. Budge has enjoyed working with I.aM.mE. star Olivia "Chachi" Gonzalez while shooting the indie feature The Legend of BlackHorse County.Mr. Budge also currently works as a free lance camera operator and DP for MTV Tr3s, BET and other networks. He served as Director of Photography for the highest rated MTV Tr3s episode of "Quiero Mis Quinces" for the quinceañera of Erica Lopez of Houston, Texas.
