My primary role within this organization is to work with our clients and partners to optimize their organizations by taking a holistic and technology agnostic approach to solving their business needs. We developed each project engagement as if we were helping the organization build a case study around elevated KPI's and OKR's. Typical projects would range from full ALM assessments, uncovering functional, technical, and optimization gaps with risks, security, release, quality assurance, process improvement, requirements, adoption, environment, reporting, maintenance, costs, disaster recovery, and license management. Other engagements would be centered around system and platform design (UX through development), optimizing delivery teams, platform modernization. I facilitated most of my meetings with department and executive-level leadership, I've sat on committee panels to advocate decision makers towards business optimization and governance. I've engaged in several fractional and field-level CTO roles, working with organizations and executive mindshare towards improving their EBITDA goals. I've been involved with several M&A initiatives (from small start-ups to multi-national fortune 500/1000s). I’ve worked with over 55 clients in the public and private sector and across nearly every industry (Insurance, Finance and Banking, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Sports & Entertainment, Food Services & Franchisors, Logistics & Supply Chain, Retail, Automotive, Education, Gaming & Casino, Crypto, Energy, Real Estate & Development, Social, Legal, Travel, etc). IP company streamlined to develop SAAS offerings and product packages as dual purpose: grow your business and improve your bottom line. The key objective at Buckit was to improve customer experience through business process improvement, change management, risk management, systems analytics, code automation, and design governance strategies. We built products, delivered projects, and built a catalog of service offerings like Managed Services, Hosting, Professional Services, Product Development, and more. We eventually evolved the organization into a digital creative agency, where our primary focus was public facing technologies for large mid-large market companies. We are building connected business solutions integrated with several top technology mediums like Microsoft Kinect to enhance businesses to collaborate and capture meaningful data in a simplistic user experience that they were not able to capture previously. We study human behaviors and are building new technology frameworks to centralize business growth and help your organization adopt lean practices.

My role was to accelerate and develop new project delivery organizations and practice areas within the company. We successfully launched new practice areas around Microsoft Technologies, Portals and Solutions, and a Creative Agency later branded as Clutch Interactive. During my tenure I successfully led over 29 client projects while participating in several dozen presales engagements in the public and private sectors, totaling over $95M in revenue with 145+ new team members. I was responsible for leading 3-week bootcamps for new project team members, junior training programs, and engaged in public speaking events.

I was responsible for the design and implementation of Epicor's Store and back office thick/thin client software. I worked across several product lines during my tenure there as a junior-senior software engineer and received 2 promotions within my first 90 days. I was later promoted to Senior Developer and worked on all the high-profile projects. I worked with the sales team to prep for large, multi-million-dollar demos, tradeshows, and more. I was hand selected to design and migrate the applications from desktop to web as the company transitioned some of their lines of business products to thin client. I worked with clients like Nike, Build-a-Bear, Dillard’s, Clorox, JC Penny, Ace Hardware, Do It Best, and more. This covered across industry verticals that included: Retail, Automotive, Distribution, and Manufacturing. Among everything else, this is also where I was exposed to a lot of retail and software specific ISV and hardware integrations like Fujitsu, NCR, Dell, NEC, Toshiba, DigiPOS, HP, and more.While I loved the product development and retail opportunities, I wanted to experience more technology stacks beyond Microsoft and .Net. Over the course of 3 years, I quickly became acclimated with conditional differences between various industries that would need to be supported as a pivotal and innovative ISV provider like Epicor. This was invaluable when looking at the global stage of opportunity. I departed Epicor with our Senior VP of Engineering, and we started a consulting company that lasted about 6 months, and then I transitioned to a mid-sized consulting firm called ICC.

I worked for all the Brands at one point or another (i.e. Bath and Body works, Victoria Secret, Express, Structure, and Limited). Responsible for inbound and outbound operations, research & quality control, order fulfillment, and returns processing. I was a crew lead responsible for a team of 32 employees that spoke very basic English, so adapting to their native tongue languages of French, Somali (Somalia & Ethiopia), and Dagbani (Ghana) was an important tenant for success. I quickly advanced up the organization and helped multiple departments across multiple brands optimize their process definitions, improve hiring standards, streamline quality control, and partition job functions into compartmentalized sub functions that could leverage scripts and MSDOS applications to track and execute their job role more efficiently.My experience here blossomed and ignited my career in IT as well, allowing me to obtain a snapshot of a very successful business model in the retail and logistics realms. I realized that executives and shareholders heavily promoted and valued data-driven systems where the outcomes could influence growth, maturity, and optimization. This role also began to prepare me for the simplicities of human-driven user experiences, accelerating success of an idea, backed by an intuitive user flow where your end-users and key stakeholders are engaged during the entire process. This process became a significate component of a boilerplate that facilitated in my career launch and allowed me to accelerate from a junior developer to senior developer, to technical lead, and then onto a product lead and solutions architect within the proceeding four years.
