Multidisciplinary research scientist with extensive experience developing algorithms for statistical and machine learning, image analysis, and numerical optimization, mostly working with multimodal, multi-subject neuroimaging data from thousands of subjects.My research interests are: multimodal data fusion, statistical and machine learning, image, video and data analysis, multiobjective, combinatorial and constrained optimization, signal processing, and neuroimaging.I have developed robust generalizations of classical latent variable models like ICA and jICA utilizing statistical independence at a deeper layer of the neural network model.Some of the projects I have been collaborating include developing leading-edge solutions for distributed joint ICA and memory efficient, large scale, parallelizable group PCA.I also developed a reshuffling optimization technique for simulation of neuroimaging data using simulated annealing, conforming data samples into meaningful spatial maps.
