A few years out of college and I am looking to further my career in poignant and dynamic work related to social justice issues. My education in Anthropology and experiences working on research projects have shown me the benefit of using research to educate and uplift others. As an administrative assistant working on grant funded projects, I have seen the importance of organization and team work in ensuring a project runs smoothly. Ultimately, I want to do meaningful work which results in positive social change.My varied work experience, including retail, business administration and research have equipped me with a diverse set of skills. “Baptism by fire” is a familiar phrase, and one I could apply to many of my past positions. Being thrown right into the thick of things at a new workplace has allowed me to become a quick learner and someone who works well under pressure. I love working with a team! There a few things more satisfying than having everyone bring something different to the table, and using those different skills to work collaboratively towards a common goal.
