Working with a fantastic team of experienced professionals, I am primarily responsible for developing and implementing the growth and market diversification strategies of Blackbriar Regulatory Services, a company that was formed to help small to mid-size companies take their FDA regulated products to market through compliant contract manufacturing and distribution, product analytical testing, and regulatory filing services. Key customers included McKesson and Medline.

Recruited to lead the design and implementation of the manufacturing, operating and regulatory systems, and management structure necessary to support the Company's sustained rapid growth and FDA product approvals. Reporting to the CEO, developed and led the company’s revenue channel diversification model, to expand beyond retail into contract manufacturing and regulatory/analytical testing consulting.

Appointed to the role of Divisional President of Essentra Porous Technologies in 2002 to lead the creation of a new division by integrating 2 competitors in the US and Germany. The Division grew from $33m to include 6 companies with combined revenue of $167m through a combination of product and technology diversification, business model expansion, and globalization. Growth was driven by both organic increases and substantial M&A. I reported directly to the CEO and focused on setting the strategic direction of the Division, business development, new product development/R&D, operations, and M&A. The Division included eight sites (3 US, Germany, China, Korea, Singapore, and India) with customers in over 67 countries and approximately 550 employees. Served as Chairman of Essentra USA Benefits Committee.Essentra Porous Technologies is a world leading materials technology developer and manufacturer of proprietary functional components for custom applications in the medical diagnostics, advanced woundcare, inkjet printing, writing instruments, cleanroom/critical environment, specialty filtration, and consumer products markets. It is a Division of Essentra plc - a £2.5 billion UK based publicly traded company. Key customers included Abbott Diagnostics, Mölnlycke, 3M, Cardinal Health, Unipath, Newell Rubbermaid, Crayola, HP, and Epson.

Promoted to the role at a time of rapid culture change for the company following the company’s acquisition in 1997 and the new FDA regulation of the tobacco industry via the federal Master Settlement Agreement. Key leadership role for transitioning a small family-owned manufacturing operation with 2 local factories that had been under the same management for over 20 years into being an integral part of the growth strategy of a dynamic multi-national publicly traded UK based Corporation. Established a new operations management team, and worked collaboratively with the unions to put in place the policies and practices required to prepare the company for substantial growth and globalization.

U.S. based 250 employee manufacturing company that focused on development and production of proprietary bonded and extruded fiber based component solutions for the writing instrument ink reservoir, medical diagnostics, specialty filtration, and filter products markets.

Organization that provided complete overhaul, routine predictive maintenance, and upgrades to F-14 and A-6 aircraft for the U.S. Navy in coordination with Grumman Aerospace. Key accomplishments included: - Project management of multiple large-scale facility construction and renovation projects, between $1M and $100m, to ensure on-time and on-budget completion- design/development/programming of complex inventory control systems capable of tracking and forecasting replacement of 1.4 million parts per aircraft for over 100 aircraft simultaneously throughout the 6 month overhaul process using sophisticated database systems, usage forecasting simulations and customized id tracking systems- Developed a statistical predictive computer modeling system to forecast maintenance requirements and costs for individual F-14s and A-6s based on more than 35 independent variables to support contract bids for maintenance overhauls and to improve competitiveness during the critical BRAC process
