The company performs translation services for several large California counties. Candidates for office and county counsel provide statements in English in Microsoft Word. To provide a uniform basis for machine and human translation and editing, DTP converts all incoming Word documents to FrameMaker, applying company styles and preserving the exact look of the initial document. Documents are then sent out to translators and come back to QA and DTP. Documents cycle through all three departments until they are ready for the client, who may make changes of their own.
