Participated in support and maintenance of data warehouse and its ETL (SSIS) processes. Developed, implemented and supported several new SQL Server structures including: MTX wallet, MTX FIFO matchback, BI Management Dashboard Metrics, and Entitlements enhancement. Developed import of Oracle RightNow data into data warehouse structures. Developed export of data warehouse data into Oracle RightNow's customer fields using API calls via C# programming. Responsible for data virtualization via Cisco's Composite including user side setup, standardized architecture, production and development support, using Hadoop and data warehouse (SQL Server) data sources. Composite is used by various power users/business analysts, by the leaderboard (web services), SSIS, and other BI exports.

Maintained and supported an existing ODS style data warehouse (relational model) with a large range of data sources both internal and external to the organization, in a 24x7 service-based architecture including on-call duties. Assisted with migration of brands from acquired database structures into enterprise data warehouse. Assisted with migration of data sources to new versions of services. Designed and developed complete redesign of existing data warehouse (and supporting ETL) from relational model (ODS style data warehouse) into dimensional model (Kimball-based) due to problems encountered with current query speeds, scalability issues, new system integration challenges and issues resulting from the existing singled-threaded stored procedure-based ETL process. The designed dimensional data warehouse is fully automated, scalable, with automated generic portability to multiple environments. Designed and developed complete redesign of ETL for newly designed dimensional data warehouse utilizing SSIS with multi-threaded architecture in a fully restartable, recoverable, maintainable and scalable design.

Lead efforts to modify the data warehouse to comply with ongoing legislative mandated changes. In addition to maintenance to and enhancement of the data warehouse, the multi-threaded ETL processes, and data warehouse reporting, also provide OLTP system support team with requirements and changes to be performed to their applications and OLTP data structures. Design, implement, and support custom automation infrastructures as warranted. Inherited highly critical, extremely complex and non-optimal ETL and OLTP stored procedures that others were not able to manage, which were then corrected, tuned and maintained. Worked with external agency data sources (import and export), either creating custom interfaces or adapting theirs to meet internal needs. Recognized needs not currently supported by SQL Server Stack, reviewed 3rd party products, recommended best solution, and successfully implemented pilot and production deliveries. Support, troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse performance and SLA administration. Developed and implemented SSIS suite to provide OLTP audit infrastructure as well as ETL data integrity metrics. Strong understanding of finance metrics resulted in placement in critical role of data warehouse augmentation to satisfy new OLTP system integration. Comprehensive support including off-hour monitoring and troubleshooting to provide 24x7 data availability, SLA compliant data updates, data accuracy, and target response times. Also volunteered to help transaction team by designing, coding, and implementing custom transaction-focused applications as needed. Previous Role: Responsible for maintenance and enhancement of crucial OLTP systems (prior to moving to Data Warehouse team) during a time of huge growth (350% transaction growth over 3 years).
