Oversee all key external relationships with brokers and carriers. Manage insurance program renewals (strategy, retention levels, breadth of cover, limits, and cost), and all claims, including product liability claims. Provide appropriate business risk assessments, identify areas of risk of loss, quantify the impact, develop and evaluate policies and provide guidance to the Company’s decision makers and minimize the impact of operational and financial risk to the organization. Review and negotiate insurance provisions for contracts to minimize exposure to the Company. Perform necessary risk management and insurance due diligence reviews for all business development activities. Directly responsible for all corporate insurance programs including but not limited to: Property, Clinical Trials, Product Liability, Cargo, Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, Fiduciary Liability, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Automobile, Environmental, Builders Risk, Cyber and other coverages essential to our organization.

• Led and managed the global Risk Management function for Hill-Rom, Inc. (now a part of Baxter International, Inc.), a $2.9B global medical device and technology company• Negotiated and managed all global and domestic insurance placements and programs with insurance brokers, carriers, and TPAs to ensure best in class terms and pricing• Acted as corporate single point of contact for all insurance matters • Supported cross-functional business partners in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks from varying business activities, including business development opportunities , customer and vendor contracts, and new products and services in development.
