Finance and Admin support for the rolling stock maintenance business in Argentina (Start-up). Responsible for Accounting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Credit & Collections, Cost Controlling, Tax, Legal, Internal Control, Financial Planning, Reporting, Insurance and IT. Clients include public and private train operators such as SOFSE, Belgrano Cargas, NCA, Fepsa and Ferrosur.The company started from scratch in 2018. In early 2022, employed 270 people assigned to 8 workshops, a warehouse, and corporate offices, across 4 provinces of Argentina. In July 2023, due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the company was sold to a local investment group.

Also implemented SOX.• Automated & Outsourced Collections, Payments and Accounting Cycles with significant productivity improvements and direct impact in working capital.• With the CEO built credibility with corporate and manage to increase capex spending from 1% to 8% of sales.• Developed a Tax Planning strategy to recover NOL’s, minimize Income Tax payments and collect export tax refunds.• Successfully managed currency hedging to minimize the impact of currency fluctuations• Implemented inflation accounting ledger as per USGAAP and SEC requirements.
