Postdoctoral researcher in the group of Dr. Christiaan Levelt. Research aimed at understanding the role of astrocytes in the development of the visual cortex. This position was financed by a VENI grant from NWO.
I worked on the mechanisms underlying long-term synaptic plasticity, which is thought to be the cellular correlate of learning/memory. I studied this topic using a combination of single-cell electrophysiology and two-photon laser microscopy.
