I lead the Farming Systems Ecology chair group at Wageningen University and Research, which researches and teaches progressively sustainable farming systems across all continents.

I led Teagasc’s programme on Translational Research on Sustainable Food Production. That meant that I was responsible for bringing together all the knowledge on sustainable agriculture, and ‘translating’ this into policy advice.
