As an employee who works in sales, it was my job to provide all customers with the high standard of service they expect from Vodafone. Not only does my work give me the opportunity to fund my travels, it's been an excellent learning experience. It has taught me how to work well within a team. I've been able to integrate my software knowledge and skills into my work at Vodafone by creating quick fixes for customers with the tools at hand, a skill that's highly appreciated within the team. Another skill I've gained through my work at Vodafone is the ability to converse with all kinds of people from all walks of life. Which started as taking pictures at nightclubs and music events has shifted away from the photography field and more towards media design. Answering the demand of customers in various ways, ranging from building, maintaining and editing websites to coordinating marketing and development related projects. The shift has resulted in jobs that can be planned more flexible and thus are a better fit as a job next to my current masters education in Innovation Management at the University of Technology in Eindhoven.

Een startup die voortgekomen is uit een schoolproject. Mijn rol hierin was initiatiefnemer en voorzitter. Vanaf het eerste moment tot het daadwerkelijk opleveren van deze website die uiteindelijk veel groter was dan een schoolproject. Ons doel was om alle bedrijven die actief zijn op het gebied van toerisme in de regio Parkstad in kaart te brengen. Een belangrijk deel hiervan was het in contact komen met bedrijven voor het onderzoeken van de behoeften en het werven van financiële middelen voor deze website. Het resultaat was een zeer succesvolle website die op vele terreinen in de top 5 van Google terecht kwam met vele 10.000 paginaweergaven zonder advertentiekosten. Door onze aankomende studies wilden we geen nieuwe verplichtingen aangaan en hebben de contracten met bedrijven niet verlengd.
