The Network Science Center at West Point serves as a point of convergence enabling researchers from the undergraduate to PhD levels across all academic disciplines to understand the world and solve problems vexing decision makers in the Age of Connectivity. Developed and implemented undergraduate course curriculum in the United States Military Academy's elective mathematics and operations research program by leading the education teams for linear algebra and network science courses. Mentored students through the accomplishment of nearly 100 unique research projects that resulted in oral and written presentation of findings to peers, faculty, conference attendees, and peer-reviewed journals. Served as a professional mentor for leadership, honor, and ethics courses. Taught single variable differential and integral calculus as a part of USMA's core mathematics curriculum.

Complete coursework and examine in areas considered foundational for mathematical study: real analysis, calculus, and algebra (linear and modern), and advanced topics including graph theory and complex networks. Complete research and write a dissertation that contributes to the body of academic knowledge (including theory and applications) in the area of network science. Specifically, develop theory to explain which entities in a network are the most important to network structure and why.

Serve as an integrating staff member, bringing together division- and installation-level staff sections in addition to subordinate units to develop, implement, and refine a process and tools to conduct assessment of the five-year Fort Drum, NY and 10th Mountain Division garrison campaign plan. This assessment enables the Commanding General to "see himself" in terms of progress toward campaign objectives and milestones, facilitating the establishment of short- and long-range priorities and allocation of resources. Conduct "on demand" quantitiative and qualitative analysis to provide scientific insight into a variety of complex problems, including Soldier wellness, decision support, and refining information flow processes through a large organization.

Lead the collection, synthesis, and analysis of data and information from multiple media and sources. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis that informs indicators of campaign progress toward established objectives. Communicate campaign status to senior military and civilian leaders in terms of military operational imperatives and readiness for transition to Afghan leadership. Prepare oral and written communications that relate operational progress to a diverse audience, including national and coalition leadership, troop contributing nations, and Afghan civilians.

Form a team with the vision and capacity to conduct quantitative (scientific) and qualitative (intuitive) analysis that informs the Commanding General's decision cycle. Engage in the planning, execution, and evaluation phase of military operations to assist in the identification of root problems, assess progress toward established objectives, and provide insight into the regional effect of unit operations. Lead cross functional teams that analyze and recommend solutions to ill-defined problems that have installation and Division-level impact.

Commander for 44 military police and 75 Japanese security guards that supported the Army on Okinawa and conducted law enforcement on Torii Station. Trained soldiers for deployment to the Phillipenes and Afghanistan. Provost Marshal, senior law enforcement official, for Army on Okinawa. Responsible for law enforcement and physical security of Army assets, including liaision with Japanese Police and local security guard labor unions.
