My name is Rogério Costa, and I'm known for my ability to adapt and solve problems.I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Welding Technologist, Mechanical Technician, as well as experience in non-destructive testing in the oil and gas sector.I've worked in a few companies, but with a lot of longevity, which makes me a conservative professional. I have worked directly for Usiminas Mecânica, the largest company in Latin America in terms of goods and capital, and I am currently employed by the multinational Aperam South America, the largest producer of speciality steel in Latin America.I am self-employed as a Mechanical Engineer (PH) and act as a legal expert.My strengths include basic engineering development, project implementation, testing and commissioning.Among my experience in engineering services, I would highlight various projects such as the assembly of stadiums, bridges and viaducts, tanks, the assembly of steel and mining equipment and the replacement of rolling mills.With my experience I can make a positive contribution to companies that develop highly complex engineering.These days, it's not enough just to be an engineer, you need to have knowledge, experience and adaptability. Over the years I have adapted and become a multi-skilled professional. This adaptation has made me a more knowledgeable professional in various areas of engineering. I'll cite a few examples such as planning maintenance / works and major shutdowns, non-destructive testing (ultrasound, LP and PM, EVS), welding, maintenance in the rolling mill area, assembly of structures and equipment, PH in NR12, NR13 and NR23 standards, knowledge of various standards, including the main AWS and ASME standards, surveying construction sites, procurement of supplies, cost control and Capex management.I am briefly summarising my 25 years in the industry and am available for a more detailed presentation.
